The boyfriend has been hesitant to bring it to the Humane Society because she will then accuse him of "killing" or surrendering her dog out of spite. He's between a rock & a hard place. It's a terrible situation. She was living with him, he broke up with her in November & she refuses to leave. It's insane. He's started eviction procedings but they won't start for at least another 2 weeks by the time all the legal stuff gets ironed out. If I can get an animal control officer to the house, he would let them in & they would take the dog. I have no doubt.

If I can't get an officer to come here, I have decided to call her & tell her that I will take the dog to the Humane Society if she does not come & get her. I will document & have several witnesses to the living conditions before taking the dog. I can't just sit by & ignore this.
