I have used Kenic tea tree shampoo, 100% aloe vera gel, and Cetaphil moisturizing cream or lotion on my HHL male. I don't use the cream every time he is bathed as he stays pretty soft. I also use the Apricot scrub with a buff pad each week before the shampoo. Just don't use a lot of pressure with the buff pad. He gets wiped everyday with a washcloth dampened with warm water and squeezed, this before bedtime. Believe each cc is different, but this is working well with me. There is a site www.crestars.com which provides some really useful information on this breed and their care.
