When I purchased my Vivante XL I did not get any documentation or software. I started having Windows98 problems so I did a complete re-install of Win98SE. Problem is I lost all the drivers. It is equipped with a Matshita SR8171 2 speed DVD, Foresson V.90 modem, Maestro2 PCI Audio accelerator and a Sigma Designs Realmagic EM8210 Mpeg2 decoder. I did locate and download drivers for the Mashita DVD, the Realmagic accelerator and the Foresson modem. These all seem to work normally. However, in order to get the DVD to function as a DVD, I need the drivers for the Mpeg2 card. The driver is not available from Sigma. They said the drivers were customized by the laptop manufacturer and I would have to get a driver from them. Problem is, there is no longer a source. I would appreciate any help that I could get. I would like a copy of an original disk. If not possible, I would like a copy of the MPEG2 driver. This could be sent to me as a download. I would be happy to pay a reasonable fee for this help.
