Subject: Memory for SE 266

I just tried to upgrade the memory in my SE-266 from the original 64 to 256 megs. I tried memory from Kingston (P/N KTT-SO100/128) and it actually degraded the performance. It looked as though the memory was recognized but everything started to stutter (mouse tracking, sounds, slow program/folder loads, etc.). Does anyone have any notions why this might occur? Alternatively, does anyone have a line on any memory modules that do work with these machines? I am in the process of returning the Kingston modules but still want to upgrade the memory.

Many Thanks,
DC
