I'd like to know, too. If you look into the empty
removable drive bay, there is something that looks a
lot like a wafer-thin battery next to the connectors
the drive plugs into. I have been wondering if the
battery could be replaced by simply reaching in there
with a pair of tweezers(?), plucking the old battery
out and stuffing a new one in? I can't remember if
there was any kind of restraint other than friction
holding it in.
