Thank you Trent for all your help!!! We really are at the mercy of people such as yourself. Thanks for taking the time to help.

One more problems though...the mmsystem error is gone now and I've loaded the d:\\video drivers, d:\\mpeg2 and then setup Venturi. However, the movies that I play are have a jerky motion. It was never like that before I messed with it. It's like the DVD drive is running to slowly. Any suggestions?
