I am using Rain V. 2.0. I have a Vivante XL 14.1. The computer is about 8 months old. There was a time when the fan never went on (or at least extremely rarely) unless I ran older Windows 3.1 programs. Now, and suddenly, the fan will kick on after about 30-40 minutes and go on and off occassionally. It becomes very irritating. I tried turning off all programs except those that were absolutely essential (3) to no avail.

Could there be something else running that doesn't show up when pressing ALT-CTRL-DEL causing the fan to come on more frequently now?

Any ideas?
