Today I left My Transmonde Vigor P166MMX, 48 MB, etc on in the office. When I returned, everything was off. Now I cannot get anything on the unit to respond, no charging lights, ...nothing!
My NiCd battery was already so bad it would barely boot up without the power supply. Could this cause operation with the power supply to cease?
My real concern is getting info off the hard drive (maybe 1 meg of data)I would just write off the notebook is I could just get the data back. What type of hard drive would I have and what would it take to get the data off of it? would I have to hire someone to do this?
My warranty expired 5 months ago. What would ASE be able to do for me?
Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions!!
