My SE 12 in screen has started flickering. I have read the earlier messages.

Mine does it when moving the screen. I can get it to do it everytime by tapping/pulling back and forth on the contrast control. My guess is that control or or the connection to it is the problem. I would bet that that is just a rheostat(sp) and the local shop could just wire around it. It doesn't do much anyway.
