I also received recently a battery for my Vivante XL. I have a few question to clarify what you posted. Do you mean your computer will not work at all with DC or that your battery meter shows less than a 100% charge. If the latter, when you pull the battery out and press the charge meter, how many LEDs light up?
If the computer works with the battery but does not show a full charge then possibly reloading the windows power managment might help.
Also isn't one of the function keys a battery guage (I can't confirm this because ASE is currently repairing my computer :-)). Maybe that can tell you something different than Windows is reporting.
I'm curious, you said that you reconditioned the batteries 8-10 times each. When I did mine it took about 8+ hours each. Did it take you over 130 hours total? Did you actually wait until the computer said the learing was complete?
