Here's what happened when I sent my Vivante in for service.

I had a problem with 1)resuming after Suspend-to-RAM, 2)a loud static sound when booting up when computer was hot, and 3) marks on the LCD (since 1st purchased).

After 3 weeks the computer was returned with all problems solved.........

HOWEVER, it also came back with 3 new problems. 1) It left with 4MB Video RAM and came back with 2MB Video RAM. Where did the other 2 go???

2) There is a small crack in the case near the USB port.

3) I purchased a 2nd battery in November. When using this battery (charge was 80%),every time I tried to start the computer it would power off when windows went to load. It would not do this with the other battery or when on AC.

Does anyone have any suggestions about how to handle ASE on these issues. Do I have any legal recourse especially for #1.
