Amy, I have had the same problems with my DVD player when I first received my laptop. Transmonde had loaded the latest C&T video drivers, the only video drivers that will work are dated 9-19-97. If you have these drivers installed then go to your bios and restore the default settings. Hope this helps. If you do not have the drivers email me and I will send them to you.
