Subject: T.S. Akbar Reformatory Ship

Have recently found out that a great uncle of my husbands was an "inmate" of the T.S. Akbar in 1901 (according to the 1901 census). Was wondering if anyone would know how/where we would find, if any, information on him (such as what he had done to be on this ship, etc.) His name was Charles H. Agnew, born 1885 in Ormskirk.

Thanking you in advance for any help/advice given.
