I was evacuated from dunkirk in H (wonderful) M S worcester. There was a hole in the jetty we boarded from and as we approached the ship an old seaman 45/50 yrs yelled out to us, "Come on you bastards we are leaving in a minute. The best music I ever heard in my life, one of our finest seamen of our R N.
I am ever grateful to H M S Worcester for picking me up from Dunkirk. I was of the 4th div ammunition company. Doug Jacques. NAmbucca Heads Australia.
