If you are requesting info about my 1st cousin, James Victor Bower, it would explain his reaction when we met. I did not know he had been in an orphanage until today. Both of our parents were divorced, so we never knew each other growing up. I found him some years back wehn he was working at a museum/gallery in La Jolla, CA. He was very bitter; he asked, "Where were all the Bowers when I was growing up? That really blindsided me. He said he had friends for family now and no longer needed any Bowers. We looked enough alike to be siblings, but I'm quite sure my father's brother, Dupree was Jimmy's father by his first wife. I met the 2nd wife and little daughter, Andy, once when I was about 15. Think it was around '51 Dupree owned a little fishing and bate store with some cabins in the Memphis, TN area. Jimmy said she inherited everything. Are we talking about the same James Victor Bower?
