Subject: Lawrence Brownless 1920s/30s

Hi
I am trying to find out some information on a boy who attended blyth in the 1920s/30s.He was Lawrence Brownless/Brownlees.He was born in 1918,He was the only brother of my grandmother Phyllis Mary Brownless.I believe that shortly after Lawrence's birth, they were left as orphans. Phyllis went to live with family friends and Lawrence went to the nautical school in blyth. I am trying to trace their parents,Can anyone help in any way?does the school still have any records for Lawrence?
