Hello Peter,
Just noticed your note in the Forum.
I was on the Arethusa in '47 to '49. Interested to hear of your GGGrandfather's serving on the Chichester. The relevent authority for the 'Arethusa' was and is the 'Shaftesbury Homes & Arethusa'......who are in London and have their 'school' still at Upnor. Kent , where the Arethusa had been for so long. The Chichester was , at the time of your GGGrandfather's time situated at Greenhithe/Swanscombe Kent. Hope you have success in tracing your relatives career.

Good Luck
Stan
