Bill, still being a late developer, I have only just caught up on your message of last December. Sorry about that. I shall check the site more often in future. Another positive reaction to my postings has been a mail from Tony Balch in Canada.
I flew out of Melbourne's then brand-new Tullamarine Airport with my wife and three kids in June 1970 and have been in Europe ever since (the last 30 as an expat in Germany). No, I was one of the school's worst swimmers, as our strict, silver-haired PT teacher (name?)let me know. - Thanks for the fill on 'Luke'.
