Subject: Bristol Naval / Navigation School, Prince Street

Seeking any information relating to the Naval / Navigation School in Prince Street, Bristol (and similar schools in Plymouth, Cardiff, Newport, and Swansea). My 2 x great grandfather, John Williams White (1846-1918) was a teacher of navigation and nautical astronomy) at all these schools. He left Plymouth for Bristol in 1872. In 1891 he passed the running of Bristol Naval School to his eldest son Elward Fawcett White.

Any information, however small, greatfully received.

Thank you.
Louise
