Whilst trying to research my late grandfather's background I have found a link to the training ship Wellesley on the night of the 2001 census if England and Wales.
A further search through internest sites has led me to your e-mail address.
Do you know of any way that I can obtain further information about this ship at this time. All I got from the census was that my grandfather Andrew Huggan was a boy in training born in Scotland and was 15 years of age at that time. This fits with the only small bit of information I have about him as his early life was never talked about with us as children.
My grandparents migrated to Australia around the 1920 and although we have maintained some contact with my grandmothers family, mygrandparents never returned to England.
I would appreciate any links or suggestions as yo where I might gain some more information
