Subject: Training Ship Arethusa

I was on the "Are" from June 1947 to June 1949, my number was 96, 10 mess Ftpt.I was placed out of routine with 18 months to serve, I spent all that time with the Bosun (Mr Smith)to whom I owe a lot.
I left to join the Merchant Navy and after about 5 years I joined the Royal Air Force.
Am now retired and living in Grimsby and in good health.
I and other "Old Boys" speak every Sunday via Paltalk.com at 9am, please join us.
