Roy- I apologise for the delay in finding your request on the RLSO site but I honestly did not expect any further correspondence after the initial entrants way back in 2001. The book you are probably referring to was written and published privately by George Bennett way back in 1952 or thereabouts. As you rightly surmised they are a bit like hens teeth -I have actually had 5 of them and have lost them through loaning them to various peoplewith the promise of a quick return. This book is only some 60 pages thick and is entitled "With no regrets" and you could try writing or contacting George at 7 Larkhill Avenue, Upton,Wirral Cheshire. George organises the RLSO Reunions so you probably took your late Father-in-Law to one of those. My wife and I were over in the UK in 1982 and attended a Reunion at the Adelphi Hotel in March of that year. George was there signing copies of his With no Regrets and another book he has written -a biography of his brother Ken and his travels in New Zealand. Anyway Roy I hope I have managed to assist in some small way and also hope George can help you in your search. Regards Pete Arthur
