Hi! Well, my great-grandmother, too, came to the US on the Circassia, back in 1883. However! The photo which the gentleman referred you to is NOT the same ship, it is actually the 3rd "Circassia" commissioned in Great Britain. The one in the photo was launched in 1937, obviously not the same ship that ferried our ancestors in 1883 and 1895! However, your family cap-band could be from either ship, or perhaps the "# 2"-Circassia!
I wish I could find a photo of the original Circassia!!
