Mistress Kana. She was a Mordsah, a human trained from childhood in the "art" of torture and magic. Mistress Kana took me as her pet when was five. She was supposed to train me as Mordsah too, but I didn't 'take' to the training, as if anyone ever could 'take' to it. Mordsah are trained by being put through every sort of pain imaginable then repeating it a thousand times over. Then they must watch their mother suffer through the Mordsah masters, after that they had to make their father their pet and kill him. Mistress Kana was... skilled in what she did. Some said she was actually not fully human, maybe part vampire I don't know. People said she had a talent for taking someone to the cusp of death, and holding them there, not allowing them to die but making them wish that they had. That is what a Mordsah does. Mistress Kana did that to me.
