Vampiress panther zephyr stalks out of the room to find Ryoku in such a position. He had ignored her in her cat form so she changed. Her heart was softened towards the young mortal. Disappears down the hall for a moment then when returned she was a girl of what looked to be 13-14. She smiled and no fangs were present. Kneeled beside the boy. She opened up to the youth that was before her.§
"Dear Ryoku, what is wrong? Why are you so frightened?"
§Thinks for a moment then she remembers what she had heard of his parents how they had been killed. Her face shows genuine concern§
"You didn't know did you?"
§Tear shows in the young ones eyes as she leans against the wall stares straight ahead at the door§
"You and I are sort of the same. I watched my mother be murdered by humans, slayers. She was so kind and gentle. She had only fed once on a human in her whole life. She took animals instead of humans. Mortals she kept for companionship."
§Sighs the tear rolling down her cheek. She had never spoken of her mother and she knew that this boy would probably not care about any of her words.§
