Subject: Completely O/T - LoTR fic

Since everyone here is supposedly interested in high-quality fic, I thought I'd toss this out & see if anyone nibbles.

I just finished a long LoTR-universe fic, dealing with m/m slash (sorta) and *unrequited* incestuous longing. Boromir is the central character. The writing is incredibly well done and although the premise is potentially squickworthy I found it to be handled in an admirable fashion. But I'm an angst ho, I admit.

I realize that's a little vague in terms of what actually happens in the story so here's my friend's description:
"but there's no sex, and it's more about Boromir struggling with the fact that, among all the political problems he's having to face, his love for his brother has gone beyond brotherly. The author does a believable job of dealing both with Boromir's struggle and Faramir's reaction, and doesn't ever stoop to the easy answers. Also, she has a firm grasp of the political history, so the plot she weaves into the story results in Boromir leaving Gondor to go to Rivendell."

Unfortunately my direct link to the story gives a page where none of the character's thoughts are properly italicized. That's a big hinderance since the narration is interspersed with their thoughts & it gets confusing when they're not differentiated. I have a Word doc that's properly formatted that I can send you but it's on the order of 500k.
