• The shot goes a little wider than expected, going into the shoulder of Kiros, and sticking. Reeling formt eh impact, Kiros steps forward to strike again, seemingly unharmed. "I have chainmail under my main armor esrtanged elf. Your arrows will not break my skin like that." Kiros unsheathes another long sword in his free hand from a sheath unknown to this time. He moves forward to the dark elf, swinging them both expertly in a strange little dance. (NT) -- Pant, 19:50:23 09/07/02 Sat
  • *Dalon dodges a sword that nearly hits his head but gets cut on his left shoulder but pays no hee to it.*You could stop that, but how about this?*He draws another arrow and mumbles an incantation.     • Kiros' concentration pays off when the arrow launches. Dropping one sword, he crosses his arms in defense. The arrow plunges into his arm, clattering against the elven chainmail beneath the bracer. The fire collides with some unseen wall, separated from the arrow completely. Kiros pulls the arrow from his bracer, and with a glowing free hand, heals the wound beneath. The king takes his spare sword again, ready to take action, but not in time.         • Kiros raises a bracer as his only defense to the kick. It collides solidly, making the paladin check his balance. He fails, taking a fall so gracefully that it looked intentional. With a hand on the ground (sword disarmed), he springs back, pointing the remaining sword down his leg as it kicks. When his hand leaves the ground, he barely grasps the sword he dropped with a scraped hand, and swings it full force for the elf as a combo with his kick. The swords of his dance with an almost hypnotic value as he slashes, as he thrusts, as he parries. The protection spell active even on his swords pierces the blackness for a combination assault.                     • OOC: That explains it. I feel smart don't I? IC: As the orb nears, Kiros focuses every ounce of magic in his body to re-enforce the protection spell against evil.                       • *The orb hits Kiros with power much greater than the size of the spell lets on but the power seems to roll right of of him, almost like water on oil.                           • *Dalon gets up on one hand and puts the other over his eyes squinting at the bright figure coming towards him.*Blast! You may have won this battle but we will meet again!* Dalon hauls a small vial from a hidden pocket and throws it to the ground, when it hits it bursts into a large cloud of smoke. He quickly leaps out of the way and jumps on his horse leaving the king to slash at the cloud.                             • At that, Kiros nullifies his magic, and begins a long march down the road out of Khole in no pursuit of the dark elf, but of his own vendettas. (NT) -- Panth, 17:25:32 09/22/02 Sun
