Once again, do some research. The republicans are the ones in congress that pushed through every single raise that the military has gotten in the last 4 years. Then have also kept Clinton from impossing a higher tax on America. So they have helped twice. Now look at the future.

George W Bush wants to give 1/3 of the surplus (tax money) back to the people. He wants to stop unnessassary deployments. He wants to keep the military home as much as possible. He wants to boost the military readiness and give the service more money to buy new gear. I am still using Vietnam Era flak jackets!!!

Gore thinks the military is fine where it is. He thinks we are over paid for what we do. He wants to impose more taxes and start over 25 new programs, most of which will hurt military readiness.

With China sitting on our doorstep with nuclear capabilities, do you REALLY want Gore to weaken the military somemore?

Oh... and even if you ment it or not... the whole laughing on the way to the bank... thats fine with me. If I retire struggling, that is 100% ok with me. Because when I am laying on my death bed, I will be able to think back and see all the good I did for my country. I will be able to see all my hard work and what I have accomplished in life and feel good as I pass away.

You will look back and see alot of money but alot of unhappiness. Alot of dreams unfullfilled. Money does not lead to happiness. Money leads to drug abuse and suicide for those that do not work for it and know their roots.

My wife and I are broke between paychecks. We get paid, pay the bills, and were broke for another week until payday rolls around. And I dont have fancy cars and big sterios and all that neat stuff. I have the minimum to get by in life. And I am happier than ever. As long as I always have my wife and kids, I could live in a box and be happy. Money doesnt mean shit. You cant buy happiness.
