Good point. God is our Father right? SO he's our Family... Nice way to put it. Themain point is that God would never REALLY make us choose between our families and Him. He wants us to have a good relationship with our families and for us to be good fathers, mothers, siblings, and children. I mean He never would have let Abraham kill his son, and frankly I don't think I would have been ablre to do it. But Abraham experienced God differently that we do today. God actually spoke to Him in person, where He speaks to us in the Bible. So the comparison may be a bit jaded due to a lack of true understanding of Abe's situation.
