I understand what they are attempting to do. However They do make some errors in their review. First they must see that Paul was a literal Christian. His Christ was very real. Proof positive is in Acts when the resurrested Jesus comes to Paul and causes a great trembling on the earth and slaps Paul around a bit (figuratively).

Proof from Paul's own writings include:

Romans 1: 1-4

"Paul a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, set apart for the gospel of God, which he promised beforehand through his prophets in the holy scriptures, the gospel concerning his Son, who was desended from David according to the flesh and was declared to be the Son of God with power according to the spirit of holiness by ressurection of the dead, Jesus Christ our Lord..."

So the claim they make about Paul not ever giving testement of Jesus' life is wrong. It says right there that Jesus was a true man in the flesh and was also God by proof of his resurrection. He gave two accounts of the most important things Jesus did. 1)he came here in the flesh 2) he was killed and rose from the dead. Paul was most certainly a literal Christian.

In 1 Corinthians 2, Paul claims as do all other "literalists" that Jesus was indeed crucified. In Chapter 15 (same book) Paul declares that Jesus was indeed risen. Where do they get this gnostic Paul from? It's a complete lie. He very much did believe in a real Jesus and in the real workings of His life death and resurrection.

I'd have to read the book to be more thourough but that's just a thing I saw from the get-go. I wonder ow many other mistakes they have...
