I leant upon a bookstack dusty
contemplating idols musty, the
Phalli/Genii/Hair-dyed Harridii
Lifted up in starry book-temples

Pepsodent! I cried, that noble
tooth whitener sold in five and
dime stores strewn throughout
the thrifty K-Martii and WalMartii

I asked if idols needed whiter teeth,
fresher breath? Why yes I said, who
wouldn't want fresher breath as
they blessed worshippers en masse

They are beautiful in masses in
churches in fields of golden wheat.
TThey would, being lost idols perfect,
of course brush and floss, too

Unless they were the idol Fred
Phelps, the idol of perversity and
a killer of every ideal sancitity
except his hidden homosexuality

Fred hath sucked the life from
life save men in hidden Turkish baths
or in oily, wretched truck stop stalli
scattered far across the sage Midwest

Even perhaps into Canada hath Fred
peered into dick-eye, the loaded
business end of furtive penii on
secret Baptist men who love men

Even love men while hating their sin
and protesting their sin in whited
dead churches full of the bones of
white men made white by Pepsodent

For their white righteousness is
superficial coming from sacraments
of toothpaste and born skin color
that speaks of naught but genes

The perfect blue sky hates these idols
and draws away from these haters when
they die and fly up into its radiant
clouds and perpetually clear altitude

It turns them back down to the ground
which swallows them up and pushes them
down to the fiery dark center of earth
that we call Ghenna, the place of Hell

They rise again in rebirth as the hated
fundamentalii in the cycle of birth and
death, they reappear again as themselves
forever trapped as the devil of themselves

They remain ugly, deformed, Phelpsian
forever. This is their vaunted eternal life:
They live and die repetitively evil lives
desecrating the sick and the innocents slain
