One thing your post brings to mind is my surprise at some of my own clients. I know this is just my experience, and that it's just a couple of clients, but...

At least three openly religious, otherwise conservative older male clients have utterly bashed Bush in group. I don't know if that's just because they're disabled and are just responding to the horrible effects of his policies on their own lives and their neighbors, first as governor and then as pres. But their vitriol is real. And these are guys who are socially conservative all across the board. They're rugged individualists who, although they don't turn down the paltry benefits to which they are entitled, aren't "parasites" by any stretch!

They're also both as politically active as they can be, going to public meetings, voting on everything, etc. I wonder how many more of them are quietly getting fed up across the nation? And what they'll do?
