Subject: Saving Liberia.... Liberate the US first!

Liberia is a country, founded in democracy, but has now fallen. Bush talks about invading (read: liberating) Liberia for their own good.

Now let us imagine.... Let us take a hypothetical country, where by a narrow majority a politician has won. That politician however is forced out before he can even take office in a coup by the opposition leader. That new president who forced his way into power then conducts a foreign policy that is hardly beneficial to the rest of the world and its neighbours.

Let's imagine that this hypothetical country decides to screw the environment, and does not sign up to the vital Kyoto agreement, and fucks up the electricity of one of its most important states/provinces with rolling brown-outs and black-outs.

Not so bad huh? Now let's imagine this country takes hold of a devastating terrorist attack to act aggressively on other states. They begin themselves to attack, and impose friendly ally state governments.

Liberia is next.

If a theoretical country where the ruler did NOT win the election were to act as aggressively as the US has done, it would have been liberated by a more democratic country by now. The US is seen as a traditionally democratic country, but who's going to invade the US to sort out the mess?

In theory I'm for the wars on Afghanistan and Iraq. Liberation of the people is a good thing anyday. But Bush is fucked up, man.

Get Bush out in the next free election (if there ever will be one again).
