I think no one is posting because we lost, and lost big time. Not the war, but the fight against it. It shocked me that we actually did it; and here I thought those fifty years of relying on the U.N. actually meant something. Fuck no. Bush probably doesn't know enough history to realize that every major conflict involving the U.S. since 1945 has been waged with U.N. approval. This is the biggest betrayal of the U.N. by one of its founding members--betrayal by _the_ driving force behind it. I think this will put in the U.N. in the same category as the League of Nations. It's over. We're back to the days of the free-for-all among nations.

But I'll take a look at that article.
