Actually, I very much appreciate the thoughts behind your words. The truth is - well - sometimes I get so self-absorbed, precious/special, and altogether NEEDY, I ask for what I already know, but just hate (once again) to accept.

Truth is, I've gone through this circle many times. Each time, with the advent of age and experience, I "trance" myself into thinking I need to find anothr way out of the labyrinth. How presumptuous! Ain't no way. I just gotta GET TOLD by someone wise (akin to me in many ways) to PUT ME STRAIGHT about what's just basically TRUE.

OK, I confess. Sometimes, I still hope someone (my prince?) will wander into my sphere of perception and offer me NEW INFO. Nope. It just ain't new, is it? Uh uh. It's as old as dirt. (In fact, I started a thread on DIRT, and, can you believe it?, no one responded!!!!) My plight, like yours, is as old as recorded time......and even before that!

We're born, we breathe (sometimes, against our will) and we die. Well, at least, that's what our "immediate and seemingly quite essential" brains inform us. How about what we really know. We live and die and live and die and live and die.....

The trick is to plug into our life's breath. That's truly where EVERYTHING begins.

Oh dear, have you ever been trout fishing? Well, I have, many times. It takes VERY DEEP WADERS to go where I wish. If you want to discuss this further, and I hope you do - because I need all the prodding I can get to ensure I'm continuing to TRY. For me, if my mind doesn't become engaged, no matter what the current chemistry is, I'm virtually sunk. I'm going to risk this - and tell you my e-mail. Please let me know more about how your brain works. It could help me a lot.
