How about this explanation of "ole Bets". How about the idea she's BOTH? I am, you know. I'm a sick puppy (and yes, who isn't?), I'm very smart (and yes, I know it), I'm a wounded creature (you HAVE to know that's true), I'm crazy (and who isn't?), I'm brave (I'm still alive), I'm scared shitless (because I'm alive), I'm confused (yes, who isn't, but who cares?), but I'm also just plain interesting (even to myself). I'm different (not really, I just think I am), I've honest (too much for most people), I'm inquisitive (FAR TOO MUCH FOR MOST PEOPLE), I'm stupid (about most things), I'm alive (I can tell I am some of the time), I'm ever-changing (all the time!!), I'm scared (just about all the time), I'm a survivor - YES. If not, I wouldn't be here now.

I read you aren't exactly pain free yourself. Guess what? Yep, you know it. Everybody on this forum knows it, whether they choose to be "little shits" with their agitated mutterings, or they act polite and deferential. We're all wounded, scared, and reaching out for some connection. My psychologist told me THE INTERNET is an introvert's best friend. She was just so right!!

Know this, the best way to feel better is to meet and interact with someone suffering too. Jesus had it right. How silly to imagine he should just "hang out" with "those who know and are on the path". THOSE PEOPLE don't need me - that's what Jesus kinda said. No quotes, here. After all, I'm not THAT OLD! He "may have indicated" he knew the people to hang out with weren't those confidently "on the path". Hookers and drunks were his speciality!!! He knew where he was needed.

ACCEPTANCE was the key.

End result, my friend, is we are all outcasts at one time or another and we all need love, understanding, and help. This is a good place for that.

Bottom line is this, I'm feeling (and don't quote me on this) a bit better.
