You flatter me, NKLS Cody. While I have not found a job, I am working as an independent sales rep and may even start my own sales agency. I already have four lines I'm selling and am negotiating deals for consultation/account development. I have a deal for $5,000 for five months almiost signed. If I can get $15,000 in monthly billings inked, I will start my own business. Of course, some of the money goes away and then it is straight commission. Plus, I have to bridge Cobra to private insurance by paying both for a six month period. Then I have to buy a car because I've had company cars forever. Next, I have to deduct about
35% of everything I make for taxes. And of course I need to file a Nevada incorporation and that is about $1000. My phone costs (cell/fax/business line/page) will run about $500 a month. The bottom line is that I need a lot of money to go into business for myself and the temptation is to give up that dream and just go back to work for a big corporation.

I've gotten a taste of working for myself and I like it. I work a lot harder, but it is better because there are no bosses. I have clients, but that is different. We need each other in a more profound way than a boss or a company needs employees.

Anyway, thanks for the compliment. How are things going for you?
