Fighting with the JoHos over the last box of Milk Duds at the local Fry's Food Store has driven me bananas (another item worth going ballistic over).
I'm going to be in the same situation as you, Leo, in a few weeks when I get to travel up to Oregon and visit my very special SO lady as she attends one of the many liberal arts colleges in Portland.
