I totally agree they had HMS before the bar scene. It was really cleverly acted. You could just so tell by their body language - OMG the sweet and natural hullo kiss at the bar and the little snuggle into him later -and by the afterglow they seemed to have. I have a question though - perhaps I need to watch a few more times, or can you answer for me ..... what were Harriet and Bud congratulating them on - was it the engagement? I thought so at first, and then afterwards when they made their announcement it seemed H and B were suprised and pleased. What do you think? (NT) -- Carole, 02:11:46 04/30/05 Sat

It was the engagement. They obviously told them or why did Bud have the coin. Also Harriet�s �oh my gosh� was at them being engaged. Then when Mac and Harm embrace to enounce their engagement Mac gives a knowing look to Harriet. That was the whole reason to be there so they could tell everyone and do the coin toss. Mac also asks Harriet to help her pick out a dress. Hard to hear this but as Coates and Sturgis are walking in she says it.
