Oh yes. There was such a lot of charged atmosphere with that one small kiss, and one word of acknowledgement. You are right. It was just a murmured, barely audible "hey," as if she said it knowing she need say nothing more. And her face as she turned away was blissful. Her eyes half closed as if she was lost in the moment. Let's face it, she'd just had Harm making love to her for the first time in all these years. ITA the kiss in McMurphy's is so steamy it could peel off the walls of that place. While Mac looked dreamy after the kiss, I love the smoldering looks Harm was giving her before he sat down.OMG! And then after the bartender says lucky you and she says �Yeah, lucky me� in that same voice and the look they share, WOW. Those two scenes are my two favorite scenes ever between the two of them. I love how from the time Mac walked in Harm hardly took his eyes off her! I wish we could see the pulled back camera angles, though. I noticed that after Mac gives Bud a hug, you can see her arms reaching to Harm, maybe to his thigh? I would love to see what their hands were doing here and of course during the kisses!! I have to agree with you too. When I watched the scene in Harm's apartment I was trying to keep myself from screaming and jumping and down with joy...but when Mac walked up to Harm and said "hey" followed by that amazing kiss...well that's when i started to cry. it just struck me as so beautiful and loving and I made no attempt to stop my tears. It's a special thing when you can walk up to somebody & kiss them like that. You're beyond the "wierdness" & wondering how the other feels. You aren't playing games or trying to turn somebody on. Yes, I agree the bar scene was just about perfect!! I thought the little chuckle/laugh from Harm after the General said, "I knew you'd come around to the Marines!" was SO super sexy/sweet.
