I think her telling Harriet she was excited about the move comes under the heading of "making the best of a bad situation." At that point, she had no idea what Harm was thinking, and no matter if she stayed in DC or went elsewhere, he wasn't going to be there. Maybe better in a new place with the distractions of her first command than sitting in a place with so many reminders of "them." Harm dressed up because of function at some hotel with a ridiculous name, associated with his becoming a captain. Then some go back to McMurphey's. I have been lurking here for a while, but tonight I had to come out and say "Wow". I wonder if they were dressed up because after the coin toss they were going to get married since one of them still as to report to their new job?? Other than too much Vic, the whole epsidoe played out WAY better than the sides suggested. I said it would, lol. It was totally different in layout and plot too. The sides now look like they were for a completely different episode. (NT) -- David, 03:46:18 04/30/05 Sat

No doubt about it. I played the final scene back in slow motion. The coin toss came up heads. Watch carefully as Bud shows which side is heads. And on all U.S. coins the year is on the head side. The way the scene ended was with heads to indicate heads won. Harm and Mac go to London and Harm eventually becomes the next JAG. Now if only ABC would pick up the show.
