Subject: This Could Have Been a Good Episode...
In reply to: - 's message, "season eight: Heart & Soul, February 18, 2003" on 03:18:28 02/21/03 Fri

Now, if they're going to have a HarmLite ep, they ought to at least make it good.

It started out good. I thought they did the ejection (ahem) quite tastefully. LOL And showing AJ trying to survive was interesting. And having Harm search for him too using his GPS was good and of course the helicopters. Also, I like the way the office couldn't keep a secret. Now, if they would have kept to that storyline, they could have involved the whole cast and had a good episode too.

But they didn't

They had to muck it up with a stupid B story coming out of left field somewhere. Why?????? That made the A story more rushed. I would have liked to have seen more of the survival stuff and the rescue.

And the AJ and Meridith stuff. Ok, the night before stuff was ok. But they turned AJ into a sappy character with those stupid hullicinations. If they want to put them together, ok, but do we have to see it??? Harm's not allowed a personal life but AJ is?

And why did Mac have to call Meridith so soon? That's a judgement call, but I would have waited til she had to so Meridith didnt have to worry any longer then necessary. But Harm wanted her called right away. Actually, for Harm request that was out of his character.

Mac in the courtroom: She accused Harm of bias last week and wanted him recused. But it was ok for her to make sounds while the defendent was testifying? Making either of them judges was a bad idea.

All in all, this episode was a TO (tape over). Too bad it's still sweeps.
