If they are close to RL here, Lindsey has got to be very near his last shot at 06-he's probably passed it, but never mind. IIRC, you can stay 'til about 26 years service as a Commander, Lindsey has been one for at least eight years. He's got to be getting up there, where if he doesn't make it soon, he'll be forced to retire. Even a weakling when backed into a corner can attack--I sense this is what he is doing. He's probably NOT really a very good lawyer, he's basically been a 'gofer' for years, not like he's really practiced, so his civilian options are likely limited. I think that Lindsey has a "little man" complex. I don't mean his phisical stature, but the fact that no matter how hard he works, he is still seen as a little, unimportant guy. He isn't a hero, he doesn't take chances, he probably sticks to the speed limit, and NEVER gets tipsey. He is a rules follower with no imagination, which is why Harm called him the good son. Yeah, but if ole Ted DOES have a wife and kiddies, and boinked Singer, he's toast. Adultry is a big deal in the military if they want to charge you with it--Mac's, since she was separated for so long wasn't even on the radar screen compared to this if he's still living with wifey.
