Okay, so I'm TWO days late, and probably more dollars short than I can count, but it's time for me to weigh in on this ep.

1) I liked it a lot (compared to some of this seasons' yawners). Intrique. Both in the A & B stories. The smuggling story had a few twists and turns to make it unpredictable, and I liked seeing Harm, Sturgis and Coates working together.
1a) Loved how Sturgis told Coates she was "uniquely qulified" for the "impersonate an INS agent" assignment.
1b) Just like Harm, I KNEW there was a piece of the puzzle missing and wanted to get to the bottom of it. And I agree w/ those who have noted how much $$$$$ Harm has SAVED the Navy by NOT going to trial every five minutes.

2) "Howdy, Stranger." *sigh*! What a sexy voice! Nice scene, they were comfortable w/ each other, Mac was understanding and didn't badger him about any personal reasons he might have had. (She's done that badgering thing in the past, you know.)
2a) Was REALLY IMPRESSED that TPTB brought up Gym! WOW! What a blast from the past for Harm. And I, too, think that the symbolism of Harm "saving" those girls is a way for him to reach back and "save" Gym.
2b) SPASM! Go read "The Orchid" on the HBX for possible insights into the Harm/Gym relationship. (I was actually kind of proud of myself and my story after this ep! LOL!)

3) Commander Icky-patooey (or whatever). Several things here. First of which is the possibility that he IS Singer's sperm donor. (See my submission to CatMom's speculation challenge for "what I WANT the shocker to be".)
3a) When I first watched it, I thought - hey, he picked up Harm's hat! After the second showing, I knew it for sure. MY QUESTION is, wouldn't Harm know RIGHT AWAY that it was the wrong hat? I mean, as soon as he went to put it on he would realize how TERRIBLY SMALL it would be!!
3b) Poor Lindsey, he tries so hard to be the best brown-noser in the Pentagon, but still isn't able to fill Harm's "hat"! LOL
3c) REASSIGNMENTS??? Hmmmm . . . .

4) I thought Mac's hair looked a little raggedy in the parking lot - guess she ran into a mild spring zephyr on her way to the office. But she looked better when she was talking to Harm.

5) Harm & AJ. Haven't seen any comments on this yet. I thought the communication between them was excellent. Very much the "father/son" connection I like to see between those two. When Harm leaned in and asked AJ how his meeting w/ the SecNav went, and AJ didn't deflect the inquiry, I knew we were seeing a deepening of the relationship.

6) Is President Bush a JAG fan? He waited until Wednesday night before going into Iraq. Gotta like that in a president!
