So ..... show of hands ........ how many of us were VASTLY more entertained by all the wild, semi-serious, hysterically funny, crazy, crazed, far-out, plausible (sometimes all in the same post!) speculations they read on the INTERNET this past week or so compared to tonight's ep? -- MichelleB, 21:26:43 04/29/03 Tue

Everyone?

That's what I thought!

sigh

Oh well!

And just how much of a big dummy *IS* Teddy Lindsey ANYWAY?

He kills Singer .... and then MONTHS later, happens to be in Harm's office and happens to have the opportunity to take Harm's cover, and does so with the intention of --- WHAT? Throwing it into the river thinking that just MAYBE .... SOME DAY ...... God only knows WHEN ..... when Singer's body is found ..... if they ALSO find Harm's cover .... SOMEWHERE on the river ..... they'll think it was HIM?

Well, of course, that *IS* what happened.

But it was all so dumb.

Ans Singer went to meet him to get her $5K on a snowy evening on a bridge over the Potomac IN HIGH HEELS????? SINGEr is not that big a dummy!

And why did NO ONE suggest MY theory? Hmmm? LOL! That being that the cover's owner went BACK to the SCENE of the crime (as all cliched killers do)???? Why did Gibbs just jump to the conclusion that Harm was being framed? What kind of "frame" is it when the cover had to have been put there MONTHS after the murder? Wasn't it MUCH more likely that Harm (as Singer's killer) went back to just LOOK at the scene of the crime and lost his cover THEN? A guilty guy being drawn back? Why didn't the prosecutor think of that, huh? LOL!

Heck, if *I* had been prosecuting, Harm would be sharing a cell in Leavenworth with Palmer right about now!

All in all a boring ep for me. And I couldn't have cared less about the NCIS case. If all that hi-tech gizmo/computer-driven jazz and running around after terrorist bad-guys is what the show is going to be about ..... even Mark Harmon's fine acting isn't going to do it for me.

All in all this ep was a big disappointment. But I did have a total blast reading everyone's fabulous "detective work" lately. YOU guys are the best!
