Black Jet on season 4 if Im correct. And Lee, Im with you on your technical points but considering how stale Jag was for some time, I take this ep anyday and Im giving Jag credit. Jag improve on its technical merits from season 1 with loaded movie piracy. Considering Jag is not a CIA show,they did pretty good.Held the attn of Jagdom. I think Webb may very well have some feelings for Mac, although I think it is clear that he knows she doesn't return them with the remarks he made about her already having the right man in Rabb. For that very reason, I don't think he would drag someone he cares about into an operation if he didn't care if he lived or died. I'm one who thinks Webb has a big crush on Mac, and has since WTP, and as shown in Embassy, WOL, TBJ, & Tribunal. Having a "crush" to me implies he knows it wouldn't ever go anywhere. Heck, I have a huge crush on Harm, but I don't think I could lure him away from Mac. Did you see that little fantasy he played out--"with this ring, I thee wed". I think he had to get Mac for the undercover role cuz he showed her picture to someone, or it was on his desk or something--with him never thinking he'd have to get her to make an actual appearance. Okay, even I, the perpetual downer, I wonder what they are really doing don't think there is a "Mac and Webb" in the future. At the very least, I think he's attracted to her. Likely a bit more. She just sees him as, well, Webb. Someone she and Harm use, and who uses them. I don't mean this in a bad way. And I agree, the op is VERY sloppy, starting from his 'you don't need to know' bit in AJ's office--she's in, she needs to know. I tend to give TPTB a little slack with seeming plot holes until I see how the story plays out. Webb struck me as fairly straightforward in this ep--not our usual Webb. What if his involvement is much more convoluted and he planned to look careless, and to get taken hostage, planted Gunny way ahead of time, found a "crooked" driver on purpose, etc.? Much more Webb-like, and also Webb like not to clue Mac in so her reactions would be natural. Even his little speech at the restaurant about being unsure of himself could be a "plant". Hmm... we'll see how it plays out.
