Lots of action ..... a little suspense ....... and a semi-good "cliffhanger" --- it'll be interesting to see how they get them out of their predicament .....

But would someone tell me just how it is that EVERYONE at JAG HQ seemed to know (at the very least) that Mac was on a dangerous mission and Harm quit to go get her? Wasn't this supposed to be a SECRET mission? Mac shouldn't have told HARM, for heaven's sake ... and now EVERYONE knows?

And didn't it truly appear as if AJ not only EXPECTED Harm to quit to go after Mac, but that he was so blase about it that he most probably actually WANTED Harm to resign? Why tell Harm ANYTHING (even last week) at ALL? If AJ didn't want him to quit, I mean. But no --- AJ calls Harm into his office and tells him the bad news .... and .... what? He didn't fully EXPECT Harm to do what he did? I don't think there's any big issue over Harm coming back to JAG.

Having both Harriet AND Coates crying was, imho, really ridiculous. NOT that they both wouldn't be upset and concerned ..... but that they KNEW that something was wrong in the FIRST place.

And will someone tell me when was the last time Webb even TALKED to Mac prior to asking her to go with him? I mean --- just when was it that he fell for her? And, will one of the guys please chime in here ---- once you realize that you are in love with some woman ... do you then arrange for her to accompany you on a trip where she could easily never come back from except in a body bag?

Now --- I *guess* I know where it was that Kip said people would be yelling "YES! YES!" or "No! No!" ..... but while Mac did kiss him, I hardly think that SHE was doing any declarations of HER love there.

My guess now? Webb dies and so Harm is left wondering just what Mac feels for who. Mac contrasts Webb's willingness to confes his love to Harm's ..... well ..... NOT willingness. Angst ensues. What ELSE is new? Sigh.

And what the heck was AJ's thing to Harm about "what're you going to do to keep her"? Huh?

There's NOTHING that irks me more than how the story of the Harm/Mac THING has been written to show that everyone [including the JAG cleaning lady] know JUST what Harm feels for Mac and Mac feels for Harm without either of them saying anything to anyone (except for Mac to Sturgis), but Mac & HARM don't know it! Blech!

And how did Harm & Victor know where the bad guys had Webb & Mac?

Victor was looking pretty good for someone who had been shot ...... but the female fanbase got cheated ONCE AGAIN out of a shirtless Gunny scene! I protest!

The torture was pretty icky. And the political rhetoric was a bit overdone ...... but except for the weirdness and out-of-placeness of the scenes at JAG HQ, it was a pretty good ep.
