Final Stair

The end is close, the world's in fear
In every country humanity is lost
Violence's ugly face does rear
Try to survive whatever the cost

There's merely another 24 hours
Before our earth is brutally struck
Down will come our ivory towers
With one mighty blow, all will destruct

Martial law is weak and is losing
As panic and fear do take the lead
From every corner violence oozing
Inevitable death has planted seed

For me, the only way of dealing
When climbing up this final stair
Is to fill my last day with feeling
With love for all of whom I care

Taking comfort in their embrace
Holding tight to all that's dear
And at the end, death I'll face
I'll go to you, I will not fear

I will have loved ones with me
We will make this trip as one
Once in heaven we will see
Truth and love has just begun
