There are no words that can explain
Or will ever take away the pain
Of losing one you love so dear
Or wipe away that silent tear
That lingers in your heart so long
And makes you feel that you did wrong
To be punished in so cruel a way
My baby's life was taken away
Lost at such a young tender age
No time to fill in life's first page
Or kiss her face as she first woke
Nor listen to the first word spoke
There are no words that come to mind
Or reason that I could ever find
To take a soul so pure this day
And tear my heart in such a way
But Lord you chose to take this soul
And leave me with this empty hole
Now give me strength to understand
And please give me your guiding hand
I know she's safe in your embrace
In a very special and loving place
Where never will she feel this pain
That showers me like molten rain
At least in this I find some hope
And makes it a little easier to cope
My Lord you have set her spirit free
And made of her an angel just for me
