I am coming on here today just to say that this is my forum and I'm glad that I invested time to make it.....I posted "Why Classify" b/c I knew I would get opinions.....and that's just what they are......opinions....you can't tell me that i'm a poser b/c i know i'm not one.....i don't claim to be punk and ONLY punk i just claim that I am somewhat punk. I never said anywhere in that message that i was completely punk. Yes I do wear SOME punk styles but I never said that's all I wear. I wear whatever the hell I want and u can suck my clit if you don't like it. I really don't care. I have came to the realization that punk is not a fashion statement like most of the girls at my school make it out to be......it's a lifestyle (just like you said) and it shouldn't be taken advantage of. Whenever i see girls at my school who are cheerleaders.....and they are wearing fuckin the Used or the Ramones Tee's i get so fuckin pissed. I mean I understand exactly where u guys are coming from but.....in the punk lifestyle.....u don't care what people think....so why do u care what I think? I think that I am IN A WAY punk and I alwayz will b/c before I was punk I was a prep and i was soooooooooo unhappy with myself. I just didn't have a mind of my own....everyone told me what to wear who to talk to and what I was going to say. I just couldn't take that. I had to be my own person and with just a little punk inside of me I am able to do that. I am able to reach within and bring out my true self. I know you are all going to bash me for saying these things but I don't care I feel this way and I know that punk isn't just a fashion statement. When I wrote all that shit about classifying i was just starting to get into punk and now.....i still haven't been able to truely experience punk music and all its greatness.....i just wish you guys would stop hating on me and try to educate me. The reason I wrote that classify thing is b/c i needed to be educated and i was fuckin tired of being called a poser. I am only a poser b/c i am uneducated. I don't want you to tell me who to listen to but I do want your opinions on what is GOOD punk to you. I wanna know what you like so tht I can maybe see if I might like them too and if I don't.....then whatever I just need some people to educate me and if you don't wanna help me then fine......whatever i don't need you but all I want is your help. Thank you.
